I bought a nice leather sofa and loveseat from American furniture last year. With in a few weeks my seats started to look and feel extremely soft.

The covers were loose enough I could almost fit one the little pillows that came with it in there. I called the store, in which I spoke with some sort of customer service rep, who told me that a natural expectation of the way that furniture wears.... Sooo a leather couch that you sell wears like that or all of them do? She responded well Most all of them.

Unless you buy the really high end ones. ( mind you I spent 895 on the sofa and 875 on the loveseat ) must not be high end enough for them. I decided I wanted to refund my product since the do have a 30 day refund, which she said ok but it would be less 20% of what I paid.... now that's great customer service, maybe she could have offered me to look at something else?

Why do they keep 20% if it was their *** product I used from the start that made me want to return it? If I knew that their leather, which said 100% Italian leather wasn't high enough end to last a few week..... I probably wouldn't have bought it. Now I'm guessing people are thinking well how big are you maybe thats why, I'm average weight and height 170 5'10.

Moral of the story : according to their own customer service you need to spend over 2000 to get seats to last more than a few weeks....

not true at all I bought a their competition in town Sofamart and I love everything about it. I even bought my new bed and kitchen table there... and I only spent 2500 for all of it real leather and all.

Thank you Sofamart *** AFW. There's a reason there's only 11 of you in the country.

I believe you and yes because of my own bad experience of how they treated me and the things they said about there own furniture. I don't think your a competitor. I agree 2 weeks isn't very long for the furniture to be that way.

Amen ! Jabs is a egotistical arrogant person, he sponsored the Christmas parde of lights, and then asked for donations, he donates to charity and wants the world to know how great he is. Giving without asking for recognition is true charity.

So Mary are you saying that Jake hasn't made donations that you and the world don't know about? Because I'm sure he has and often so is it true that you don't know what you are talking about so maybe you should judge someone else that doesn't donate and try to raise money?

Ask me if i care that you buy it, copy of my original receipt order number starts 316181... I assume your an employee trying to defend you position in the company, by discrediting me.

would you like me to put the word for word on the back of the receipt?

"Our exchange policy is reality based... it is our desire to do it right the first time!...and sure maybe I'm rough on my furniture but you must agree two weeks isn't enough time for a bouquet of flowers to die if you didn't water them, I don't believe that furniture should be more fragile.

I understand that AFW has been in business for 35 years and is Colorado's largest selling furniture store. Gee...could it be you work for a competitor of theirs?

รขโ‚ฌล“Just sayinรขโ‚ฌย. Could it be maybe you don't know how to treat furniture and blame the furniture store and the merchandise? Could it be you don't care how your treat furniture? Could it be that maybe you made all this up?

Hummmmmm...AFW told you that you have to spend over $2000 to get seats that last over a few weeks?

Oh sure they did Dude; yeah right... The real Moral of the story is don't believe dudes that don't let the truth get in the way when telling their made up stories.

I used to work for AFW and that's so common of that place I hated every minute of working there. The owner Jake Jabs would stop by and be so above everyone.

He treats everyone like they are little pre ons and I couldn't stand it. I watched him fire am employee on the sales floor right in front of a customer because he was sitting down. Take my advice everyone has a problem when the buy at AFW we didn't care because if you cancelled we still got the fee from you.

What a joke! Sorry to hear Dude!
